Ringside Fight Score
Ringside Scoring improved. Accurate. Consistent. Fast.
The Ringside Fight Score program was developed and launched in 2010 by the Manitoba Combative Sports Commission in response to the need to improve speed, calculation consistency and accuracy for scorekeeping at Boxing, MMA, Kickboxing, and Muay Thai events. Where existing systems were time-consuming and relied on manual calculations, resulting in a higher likelihood of error, this new program:
Ringside Fight Score provides an efficient way to record all judges’ scores from each bout and produces a rapid and mathematically-determined outcome of each match*. Ringside Fight Score streamlines ringside paperwork by eliminating the need for standard scoring sheets to be filled out and calculated by hand. The program provides digital scoring sheets for both each bout and final scorecard, with suspensions, for rapid post-event reporting.
*unless the bout is stopped early and then the option for choosing the outcome as relayed by the ref is recorded.
Ringside Fight Score is currently used by the following jurisdictions:
Manitoba - nine years.
Ontario - eight years.
British Columbia – six years.
Fort McMurray – seven years
Saskatchewan – four years
Some benefits of the program include:
$1200 (CDN) includes: the base cost of the program, branding with your commission name and logo, and minor changes to Officials descriptions specific to your Commission (twelve hundred Canadian). Optional costs include expenses for one in-person training event (travel etc.)
